Te Aka Ora means "healthy vine". Our aim is to provide a safe and nurturing place where you can learn how to look after yourself and baby in the best possible way. We want you to develop a strong loving bond with your baby and learn heaps about how to make a family, so that you will have a solid foundation upon which to build the rest of your life as a parent.

  • Our role is to provide 24 hour support and guidance to assist young families in learning, take care of themselves within a Whanau based home, inclusive of routines and responsibilities which will help with the transition to independent living.
