Te Whare Whai Hua is specially set up to enable young parents to continue their studies and to gain valuable qualifications.
  • The programme is flexible and can cater for all levels and abilities
  • Qualified and committed teachers are on hand to help
  • Parenting and lifeskills training is offered
  • Students are also involved in sport, recreation, arts and crafts
  • A supportive whanau atmosphere with other young parents

We have spacious facilities for both parents and children and an environment that is both comfortable and supportive of learning.

Transport is available from home and back again for all students and their children

Our Early Learning Centre is supervised by qualified and registered teachers and we have the capacity to enrol up to 50 children.
Children learn through play, a stimulating environment and supportive adults who value children's thinking and contributions.

Programmes and plans for children are based on their strengths and interests and teachers value whanau involvement to ensure that their needs and their aspirations for their children are met.

"Whanaungatanga" - a sense of belonging and respectful relationships is encouraged so that whanau can help one another achieve and grow in a positive and healthy environment.
